Another visit to the vet to get injections

He's so scrawny that his head seemed too big

He loved to drink from the faucet up till the end when he could still stood up

I cried watching him struggle to balance himself

But he sure loved the water

I think this was the second last time he received treatment at the clinic

He was such a wonderful cat, never whined about getting needle pricks

Daifoo spent his last days clinging to the tub

most of the time he looked dead

After examination, the doctor said there's nothing we could do to help him

SIGH... T_T

I insisted the vet give him one more antibiotics and nutrients injection which didn't help afterall

The couple of days before his death, I had to put him in the tub and take him out periodically in case he needed to pee

Whenever I checked on him, I cried

Daifoo's suffering would be over in less than a minute after injection began

The vet checked his heartbeat after he's gone

He then massaged his lower abdomen to extract urine and cleaned his eyes and mouth

Daifoo returned home one last time with no pain

We wrapped him in a towel in a bag and kept him in the freezer overnight before the funeral the following day

Got diapers, sheets and wipes when Daifoo began to get incontinent

Daifoo wore diaper the last day
